Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Bouncer to join our team at Daffodil. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the venue, ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff. This role requires excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety standards. The Bouncer will play a key role in loss prevention and crowd management, providing a welcoming yet secure atmosphere for all visitors.
Duties
- Monitor the venue using CCTV surveillance to identify any suspicious activity or potential security threats.
- Conduct thorough checks of patrons upon entry, ensuring adherence to venue policies and age restrictions.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the premises to deter inappropriate behaviour and manage crowd flow effectively.
- Respond promptly and professionally to any disturbances or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including managing access control and handling conflict resolution with tact and professionalism.
- Assist with loss prevention by observing for theft or unauthorised access, reporting any concerns to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or crowd control roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert over extended periods.
- Strong communication skills, capable of managing difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
