Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Florist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for floral design, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to create stunning arrangements for a variety of occasions. Duties
- Designing and creating bespoke floral arrangements for events, weddings, and daily retail sales
- Assisting customers with selecting flowers and providing expert advice on floral care and maintenance
- Organising stock levels, ensuring flowers are stored correctly to maximise freshness and longevity
- Managing merchandising displays to attract customers and promote seasonal or promotional products
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the shop, including tools and workspaces
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely completion of orders and efficient workflow
- Keeping up-to-date with current floral trends, horticultural techniques, and gardening practices
- Providing exceptional customer service through clear communication in English and Spanish when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Florist with a strong portfolio of floral arrangements
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and plant care techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when needed
- Passionate about floristry, with a keen eye for colour, detail, and aesthetics
