Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar counters, and service stations
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed, adhering to safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and process payments securely
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest services
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly
- Strong communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
