Job Vacancy: General Assistant
The Canteen at Junction 24 Ltd is looking to recruit a permanent General Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team.
We have both part-time and full-time positions available. Our catering operation supports a busy Livestock Market, Truck Stop, Conferences and Events, so no two days are ever the same – perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their role.
Hourly rate: Competitive and dependent on experience.
General restaurant and front-of-house duties
Operating the till and handling transactions
Serving customers with a welcoming, friendly attitude
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Clearing tables and trolleys
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and wash-up areas
Cleaning and sanitising food preparation surfaces
Stock replenishment and rotation
A positive, customer-focused attitude is essential.
Applicants must be able to work weekends and evenings and ideally be fully flexible.
Shifts may fall within the following times:
Monday–Thursday: 6:30am – 9:30pm
Friday: 6:30am – 3:30pm
Saturday: 6:30am – 4:30pm
Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
