At www.tgsupplies.co.uk, we are a busy and growing e-commerce business based in Ilkeston and are looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Picker & Packer to join our team.
This is a straightforward, hands-on warehouse role. You'll be picking customer orders, checking products and quantities, packing orders securely and getting them ready for dispatch.
We are looking for someone who turns up, works at a good pace, pays attention and takes pride in doing the job properly.
What you'll be doing
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Packing products safely and efficiently
- Checking products and quantities before dispatch
- Using our simple order picking/scanning system
- Preparing parcels for courier collection
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
- Helping the rest of the warehouse team when required
- Putting products on shelves when required
What we're looking for
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work at a good, consistent pace
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working on your feet and doing physical work
- Able to follow processes and instructions
- A positive, practical attitude
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Quick learner
- Ability to speak Cantonese, Polish, or Hindi will be beneficial due to our supplier and customer base
Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is useful, but it isn't essential. Full training will be provided. If you have previously worked in retail, fastfood or hospitality role, this experience is also valuable.
What we offer
- £12.80 per hour starting rate
- Permanent, full-time position for the right candidate
- Monday–Friday 8am until 4:30pm
