Location: Swindon
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday | 05:00am and 17:00 Starts available.
Salary: £16.50/£17.50 per hour

- Valid HGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- Previous commercial driving and trunking experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of UK driving regulations and driver hours

About the Role
We are looking for a professional and reliable HGV C+E Driver to join our team based in Swindon.
This role involves deliveries to stores with 05:00am starts or 17:00 Starts, Depending on your preference, We are looking for self motivated drivers with a passion that matches our values. ensuring safe, efficient and timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV in accordance with legal and company requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete deliveries safely and on schedule
- Load, unload and secure goods where required
- Plan efficient routes while complying with driver hours legislation
- Complete delivery paperwork, logbooks and vehicle records accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse teams and colleagues
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with delivery scheduling and coordination when required
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial HGV driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation and driver hours regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Ability to work early morning starts and manage workloads effectively
