Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.45am-5.15pm.
In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile
- Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining treatments, managing patient comfort, and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and managing patient records
- Uphold high standards of infection control and health & safety protocols throughout the practice
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, post-treatment care, and answer questions effectively
- Organise treatment rooms efficiently, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse is essential
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Basic IT skills to navigate dental software
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced environment
