We are currently looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to add to our commercial team. We are currently working a 4 day working week Monday to Thursday.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects with packages including Dry Lining, Steel Frame Systems (SFS), Partitions and Suspended Ceilings. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a keen desire to be a key part of an effective team.

Your duties will include:
- Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post-tender matters
- Participate in post tender negotiations
- Oversee contract from point of reward to final account
- Maintain and co-ordinate commercial reporting with operations and contracts managers
- Monthly reporting and forecasting - CVR ownership and management
- Attendance and participation at regular design review, internal and external progress review meetings
- The recording of information relating to the works
- Measurement of quantities both on site and from drawings
- Review/process sub-contractor payments
- Preparation and submission of applications
- Manage and value variations
- Manage payment certification – invoicing/payment receipts
- Manage costs and liaising with clients and/or sub-contractors
- Preparation and submission of final account
- Settlement of final accounts
- Attend project and company related meetings

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Proven experience in cost control and budget management
- Ability to analyse and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for quantity surveying
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Relevant certifications in quantity surveying or construction management
