Overview: To oversee the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience, seamless functioning of all departments and an efficient management of the hotel’s resources.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist & support Heads of Departments to ensure the smooth running of their departments and help to resolve any problems to ensure a smooth guest experience.
2. Ensure the highest of standards are adhered to within the hotel, take personal responsibility that every guest experience is faultless, host, meet and greet guests.
- Ensure the Health & Safety of guests and staff throughout a shift paying particular attention to minimising any risk associated with Fire safety.
- Particularly allocate time to converse with all guests to ensure their satisfaction with food, service and any other matter.
- Deal with all guest complaints (if any) and be conversant with the guest comments/complaints procedures as set out by the General Manager.
- Perform duties as per the early/late duty checklist, including sleepover duties when necessary.
- Assist with minor maintenance problems and inform the Maintenance team where necessary.
- Be ‘hands on’ in other departments if the need arises and be available to cover staff shortages where necessary.
- Carry out any other reasonable request or task as directed by the General Manager or the Directors.
10. Stand in for HODs where required.
11. Manage beverage deliveries & issue stock from cellar.
12. Assit with general reception activities, such as check in check out, portering, answering calls.
13. Ensure fire checks are being performed at least one time on duty (using the NP check wand)

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Duty management: 3 years (preferred)
