Job Outline
A member of the team at Fitzbillies central bakery, reporting to the Bakery Manager. Responsible for packing and deliveries of daily orders to our branches and local wholesale customers and packing of website orders which are sent out from the bakery via postal service. Always working to ensure that deliveries are done on time and accurately. You will ensure good maintenance on our vans, keep records up-to-date, slicing, packing breads and other baked goods, keep the warehouse area neat and clean, manage stock and storage areas. Help out with other tasks as needed.
This role is vital to the smooth running of the bakery and requires a person who cares about delivering excellent service to our customers, someone who can get the best out of their team and motivate them to get things out to customers on time and in excellent condition. A 'can do' attitude is essential!
Qualifications
· Full and clean UK driving licence
· 5 years driving experience
· Friendly and approachable demeanour
· Positive, hard-working and organised attitude

Fitzbillies bakery is a Cambridge institution, founded over 100 years ago and best known for its ultra-sticky Chelsea buns. Nowadays Fitzbillies is a thriving, local, independent bakery and hospitality group. The business is built around: a central, artisan bakery, housed in a light, modern building at Harston, supplying three branches of Fitzbillies in central Cambridge, a number of external wholesale customers including farm shops, colleges and local restaurants, and online orders.
This role is at the bakery at Harston, the heart of the business. We make a large range of amazing artisan baked goods, by hand every day. Everything from sourdough bread, to croissant, to our Chelsea buns, to macarons and wedding cakes.

Hours & Renumeration
24-32 hours a week
5 days out of 7 weekends involved.
Start times vary between 4:30 am - 5:30am
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
