We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to inspire students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons tailored to different age groups and abilities
- Organise and supervise sports coaching sessions, ensuring safety and fair play
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote discipline and respect during activities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among pupils
- Maintain organised records of attendance, participation, and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive curricula that integrate physical education with overall student wellbeing
- Promote inclusive participation by adapting activities for students with diverse needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching physical education or sports coaching
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques suitable for a school environment
- Fluency in English, with excellent organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student records
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Relevant qualifications in teaching or sports coaching recognised within the UK education system
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Pay: £110.00-£130.00 per day
