Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive School Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance of our educational facilities. This vital role ensures that the school environment remains safe, functional, and conducive to learning. As a School Site Supervisor, you will lead maintenance teams, coordinate project management activities, and uphold high standards of safety and efficiency across the site. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of the learning environment, fostering a positive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors alike.
30 Hours per Week
6.30am-9.30am 2.30pm-5.30pm
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring all equipment functions optimally.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and renovations from planning through completion, adhering to schedules and budgets.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to maintain building automation systems
- Conduct regular inspections of school facilities to identify issues early and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, project progress, safety incidents, and equipment inventories.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- DIY knowledge with hands-on experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings.
- Knowledge of building maintenance practices including plumbing, electrical wiring, and general repairs.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.
