Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse building projects efficiently and to a high standard. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work with precision and attention to detail
- Perform roofing repairs and installations in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems as required for different projects
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operate welding equipment safely for metal fabrication and repairs
- Handle electrical installations and troubleshooting in compliance with regulations (where qualified)
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various building tasks
- Fabricate customised components or structures as needed for specific projects
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication or similar trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, chisels and levels
- Competence in operating power tools including grinders, sanders, and drills safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and work environments

Pay: £24,420.00-£51,385.58 per year
