Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care while leading and supporting the wider care team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care.
- Create, implement and review person-centred care plans.
- Administer and accurately record medication in line with NMC guidelines.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records in accordance with GDPR and company policies.
- Lead, supervise and inspire a team of care staff.
- Mentor and develop colleagues to achieve the highest standards of care.
- Conduct staff appraisals and support ongoing performance development.
- Promote residents' independence, dignity and wellbeing through meaningful activities.
- Build strong relationships with GPs, community teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the on-call rota and work alternate weekends.
About You
You'll be passionate about delivering outstanding care and committed to achieving the best outcomes for residents.
You'll have:
- Active NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Previous experience within a care home or elderly care setting (desirable but not essential).
- Strong leadership and team-working abilities.
