Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance with their pharmacy purchases and inquiries
- Support pharmacy staff by organizing medication stock, checking inventory levels, and restocking shelves as needed
- Assist with medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring proper storage and labeling of pharmaceuticals
- Provide accurate information about over-the-counter products, health supplements, and basic medication usage instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards and a welcoming environment
- Help manage patient records, process prescriptions, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver excellent patient care and support medication management efforts
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assitant or in a related healthcare role is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
