The Role
As a Business Support Analyst at FTZ Telecoms, you’ll play a key role in supporting the commercial and operational side of the business. This is a varied position focused on data accuracy, commercial awareness, organisation, and continuous improvement across multiple areas of the company.
You’ll work across customer orders, supplier systems, billing platforms, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to ensure information is accurate, issues are identified quickly, and processes run smoothly. This role would suit someone who enjoys analysing information, spotting discrepancies, solving problems, and improving the way things are done.
One day you may be reconciling supplier billing against internal records, while the next you could be investigating order discrepancies, improving reporting processes, or identifying trends and issues within operational data. You’ll be expected to work across multiple systems and data sources confidently, while communicating findings and recommendations clearly to the wider business.
This is not a traditional administration role. We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, commercially aware, analytical, and proactive — someone who takes ownership, pays close attention to detail, and can help bring structure and insight to a fast-moving telecoms business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and reconcile data across multiple business systems, supplier platforms, and internal records
- Support billing accuracy by checking, validating, and investigating discrepancies when required
- Work with operational and commercial data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records across Salesforce, supplier portals, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of reports for internal stakeholders
- Support the management and progression of customer orders across Mobile, Hosted VoIP, and Connectivity services
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order, billing, or service-related issues
- Investigate operational problems and provide recommendations or solutions where appropriate
- Help improve internal processes, workflows, and reporting structures as the business continues to grow
- Work across multiple systems including Microsoft Excel, supplier portals, Salesforce, and Power BI
- Support the wider business with administrative, commercial, and operational tasks where required
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail across all areas of work
About you
You’re naturally organised, analytical, and detail-focused, with the ability to work confidently across multiple systems, data sources, and tasks at the same time. You enjoy problem-solving, spotting inconsistencies, and understanding how different parts of a business fit together operationally and commercially.
You’re someone who takes ownership of your work and doesn’t simply process information — you investigate issues, ask questions, and look for ways to improve processes and reporting. You enjoy working with data and spreadsheets, learning new systems, and can communicate findings or concerns clearly to the wider team.
At FTZ Telecoms, we’re looking for someone who can think commercially, work proactively, and help bring structure and visibility to a growing business. You’ll need to be adaptable, capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-moving environment, and confident working independently while supporting multiple departments across the business.
Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to balance analytical work with day-to-day operational support and occasional customer or supplier interaction.
