Craigshill Dental Centre is a welcoming dental practice located in Craigshill, Livingston. We are committed to delivering high-quality NHS and private dental care in a friendly environment, valuing our team and patients alike.
We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Qualified, or trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Craigshill Dental Centre on a full time permanant basis working Monday 8.15-5.45pm, Tuesday 8.15-5.45pm Wednesday 8.15am until 7.15pm and Friday 8.15-5.15pm. Additional hours will be required to cover Holidays and Sickness.
Salary will be dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview.
This role is vital in supporting our dentists and ensuring exceptional patient care, reflecting our commitment to excellence and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures with professionalism and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout treatments.
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems.
- Support the team with organizational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to foster a welcoming environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC Registration/Currently enrolled on a dental nursing training course
- Proven experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with IT systems used in dental practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols in dentistry.
