Job Summary
Due to continued expansion we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Motor Mechanic will ensure all repairs meet safety standards and customer expectations, contributing to the smooth operation of our fleet and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults using schematics and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately
- Repair and maintain, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to execute repairs effectively
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or similar role with a strong understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals
- Mechanical knowledge of various vehicle types
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools,
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment
- Strong maintenance skills with a focus on safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good customer service skills for liaising with clients effectively
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive industry.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
