Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 2 and 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your expertise in childcare and early childhood education will inspire curiosity and confidence in every child you care for. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality childcare tailored to the individual needs of each child, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Support children with their daily routines including feeding, toileting, and rest periods
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in care practices and contribute to team meetings
- Assist in the supervision of nursery staff and volunteers when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Deep understanding of childcare principles, early childhood education standards, and nursery procedures
- Ability to organize activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety at all times
- Valid driving license (nice-to-have) for supporting nursery outings or transportation needs
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively within a team environment with a positive attitude

Pay: £12.72 per hour
