Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for our hotel to support the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and the ability to oversee daily hotel activities. Duties
- Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
- Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently whilst maintaining accurate records.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact.
- Manage human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in organising promotional events or special functions hosted at the hotel.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of local attractions and services to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or similar service environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff management.
- Experience in hotel operations or hospitality management is preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
