We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Maintenance Technician in Derby to join our small team. This is a hands-on, varied role combining maintenance of electrical equipment, warehouse duties, and customer support.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is technically minded, reliable, and comfortable working independently, with strong organisational and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, service and, maintain mulled wine heaters and equipment
- Troubleshoot faults and support customers with equipment queries
- Build excellent working relationships with our customers, including site visits when required (company vehicle provided)
- Pick, pack, and assemble orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate records using Excel
- Manage stock levels, including rotation and organisation
- Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Technically minded
- Electrical skills and qualifications an advantage
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and unsupervised for extended periods
- Proactive with a strong work ethic
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Computer literate (including Microsoft Excel)
- Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks
