As one of Birmingham's premier LGBTQUIA+ venues, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable nights in an inclusive and welcoming space.
Role:
Part-Time Supervisor
Hours:
- Flexible shifts, primarily evenings and weekends
- Glamorous is a late-night venue, with shifts often ending at 6am. You must be comfortable working through the night and taking responsibility for opening and closing the venue.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily operations during your shifts, including opening, closing, and cash handling
- Lead and support the bar team, ensuring exceptional service and a positive atmosphere
- Assist with stock management and ordering
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Conduct staff briefings and provide on-shift training when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or nightlife venues is preferred
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for the LGBTQUIA+ community and creating inclusive spaces
- Comfortable working late hours and handling responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm
- Confidence with cash handling and daily reconciliation processes
