Duties
- Supervise daily recycling activities, including sorting and processing
- Coordinate with team members to meet operational goals and maintain high safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations
- Provide hands-on support with heavy lifting and mechanical tasks when necessary, demonstrating best practices for efficiency and safety
- Train new staff on recycling procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate records of materials processed, safety incidents, and operational metrics
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, recognizing achievements, and encouraging continuous improvementSkills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines
