Working across Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Technology and Insight & Intelligence, the Pricing Manager will combine commercial judgement with robust analytical thinking to translate market insight into effective pricing strategies. The role will establish a disciplined approach to pricing, promotions and commercial modelling, ensuring every pricing decision is evidence-based, financially robust and aligned to Gigaclear’s overall strategy.

The position offers the opportunity to shape the company's commercial strategy and lay the foundations for long-term value creation. This is an opportunity to build a modern pricing capability from the ground up, introducing best practice, embedding a culture of experimentation and positioning pricing as a strategic lever for growth rather than simply an operational process.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Gigaclear’s Pricing Strategy: Lead the ongoing development of Gigaclear’s pricing strategy across B2C and B2B products, ensuring the business remains competitive whilst delivering sustainable improvements in revenue, profitability and customer lifetime value. Working closely with the Director of Commercial Strategy & Propositions, develop pricing principles that balance acquisition, retention, commercial return and customer value. Provide strategic recommendations to the Chief Commercial Officer on pricing opportunities, competitive responses and long-term pricing direction.
Own the Pricing Architecture: Take ownership of the end-to-end pricing architecture, ensuring structures remain simple for customers whilst reflecting differences in market conditions, network competition and customer value. Develop pricing frameworks across broadband, voice, mobile, value-added services, hardware and installation, supporting the Company’s ambition to introduce increasingly sophisticated segmentation and localised pricing where appropriate. Ensure pricing architecture evolves alongside the proposition roadmap, supporting future multi-gig services, new product launches and adjacent revenue opportunities.
Commercial Modelling & Decision Support: Provide robust commercial analysis to support strategic decision making across the Commercial organisation. Develop financial models and business cases that evaluate the commercial impact of pricing changes, promotions and new propositions, modelling the implications for acquisition, churn, margin, customer lifetime value and long-term profitability. Present recommendations in a clear and concise manner, enabling senior stakeholders to make confident, evidence-based commercial decisions.
Promotions and Customer Value Management: Develop promotional strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention without compromising long-term value. Work closely with Marketing and Sales to optimise acquisition offers, retention propositions and up-sell / x-sell journeys. Evaluate the effectiveness of the campaigns, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, reduce unnecessary discounting and increase customer lifetime value through more targeted interventions.
Commercial Insight & Intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of Gigaclear’s competitive position by monitoring pricing activity across national broadband providers, alternative networks and business connectivity markets. Use internal performance data alongside external market intelligence to identify pricing opportunities, competitive threats and emerging customer trends. Work closely with the Insight & Intelligence function to develop richer pricing analytics, incorporating customer segmentation, price elasticity, acquisition performance, churn behaviour and lifetime value into future pricing decisions.
Embed Test & Learn: Establish a culture of experimentation that enables the deployment of smarter pricing decisions through evidence rather than assumption. Design and oversee controlled pricing experiments across different customer segments, geographic markets, propositions and promotional mechanics. Working alongside the Insight & Intelligence team, evaluate the results of these trials to understand customer behaviour, price sensitivity and commercial outcomes before wider implementation.
Pricing & Trading Governance: Develop robust governance processes that ensure pricing changes are properly evaluated, approved and implemented across all customer and billing systems. Act as the commercial owner for pricing governance, maintaining clear documentation, approval processes and implementation controls to minimise operational risk. Support continuous improvement across pricing processes, systems and reporting, ensuring the pricing function becomes increasingly efficient, automated and scalable.
