Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Car Sales Forecourt Support Person to join our team. This role involves dealing with all aspects of day to day support and preparation. The ideal candidate will be of trustworthy character, ideally from a hands on (not managerial) car sales or preparation background and have a friendly professional attitude and a proactive approach to their duties. Previous experience in the car industry in some capacity is essential. This is a great opportunity to get involved in all areas of the car sales process in a friendly team and would suit a physically active person. Sales experience would be great however the successful candidate would be expected to skill up in this area and be comfortable dealing with customers. Will be
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the forecourt area, including cars and surrounding environment
- Assist customers by providing information about vehicles and services in a courteous manner
- Support the sales team with vehicle movement and positioning as required
- Conduct routine checks on display vehicles for cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assist with organising promotional materials or signage on the forecourt
- Drive company vehicles when necessary for vehicle transfers, MOTs or other operational needs
Must haves
- Valid driving licence ideally with clean driving record
- Provable recent experience in the car industry in a similar capacity - hands on general support or small forecourt work experience ideal
- An interest in cars and vehicles
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and not be afraid of getting wet at times - this is a hands on role
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility in approach as needed in a small team.
