Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers courteously and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Friendly demeanour with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
