We are looking for a Guest Experiences Assistant to join our team at Bristol Aquarium, Bristol.
Join the team at Bristol Aquarium where we offer visitors the chance to explore more than 40 naturally-themed displays and spot the thousands of amazing aquatic creatures, including tropical sharks, rays, seahorses, puffer fish, piranhas, and so many more.

Job Description
To offer entertainment, education and refreshments in a safe and friendly environment, through interactive presentations and demonstrations. To offer excellent customer service, maximise sales and comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- To be approachable, knowledgeable and engaging when dealing with customers
- Deliver set talks and workshops to a world class standard
- Responsible for delivering educational tours and sessions to groups and schools
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks
- To deliver exciting, entertaining and educational birthday parties
- To operate the retail and admission tills ensuring transactions are correct and efficient and that queues are well managed
- Take pride and ownership for assisting to keep all staff areas clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure
- A can do attitude working with pace and vigour
- Availability to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a continuously growing experience
