Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile
- Provide high-quality patient care by explaining treatments, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using IT systems, including treatment notes and medical histories
- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient practice operations
- Communicate clearly with patients in fluent English, offering reassurance and guidance before, during, and after treatments
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold high standards of practice
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals through their dental journey
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Solid understanding of nursing principles applied within a dental setting, including infection control and patient safety
- Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping, appointment management, and clinical documentation
