For the past 10 years, Live Wire has worked across Formula 1, supplying technology to the major teams and F1 Management. Our work varies from constructing viewer experiences in teams' hospitality suites, paddock, garages and factories elevating each of the 24 races a year. We work closely with our suppliers to deliver pioneering technology and integrate innovation into all of the work we do.
Live Wire provides AV technology for all genres of events including Festivals, Concerts, Conferences, Theatre and Dance. We work with large concert halls in London such as Southbank Centre, Barbican, Sadlers Wells to provide technicians, support and equipment.
Job Description:
You'll provide administrative support to the Freight Operations team, helping ensure international and domestic shipments are processed efficiently. You'll be responsible for preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, communicating with freight partners and supporting the smooth movement of equipment across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, ATA Carnets and customs paperwork
- Maintain accurate freight records and update internal logistics systems
- Support the booking of domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and carriers
- Monitor shipment progress and update internal teams on delivery status
- Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, customs agents and suppliers to obtain shipment information
- Assist with customs documentation and ensure compliance with UK and international shipping requirements
- File and organise freight documentation and maintain accurate audit records
- Support the wider Live Wire team with event and Formula 1 freight planning
- Produce reports, spreadsheets and freight administration as required
- Provide general administrative support to the Freight Operations team
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within logistics, freight or supply chain
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Flexibility during busy event periods when additional support may be required
Desirable
- Experience within freight forwarding or logistics administration
- Knowledge of customs procedures, ATA Carnets and international shipping documentation
- Experience using freight management systems or ERP software
- Interest in motorsport, live events or international logistics
