As a part-time Domestic Cleaner you will help create clean, welcoming environments for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various residential settings in the Dunbar area. Your dedication will ensure our clients feel comfortable, cared for, and satisfied with every visit.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas according to established protocols
- Provide friendly customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction during each visit
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments
Skills
- Previous cleaning experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards and have the ability to show some initiative
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety procedures desirable
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client preferences
Part-time, permanent. 10+ hrs per week with the potential to increase hours as the company grows.
Hours available within the core hours of Monday to Friday between 9am and 2pm. If you are looking for a good work/life balance, then this is it.
This is an employed role. Paid training, paid travel time, fuel allowance, holiday pay and pension. Friendly, and supportive working environment with lovely clients.
Based in Dunbar and surrounding local area.
You will need a clean driving licence with access to a car during work hours and a Disclosure Scotland check (provided) – start date will depend on this.
