Job Type: Freelance / Project-by-Project
We're looking for experienced SketchUp 3D Designers / Modellers to join our freelance network and support our events and exhibitions team during busy periods.
Strong SketchUp skills are essential. You'll be confident producing accurate 3D models and professional presentation packs using SketchUp Layout, with experience designing exhibition stands, event spaces, or similar environments. You'll work closely with our Design and Project Management teams to develop creative, practical solutions that meet our clients' briefs and deadlines.
This is a flexible, project-by-project opportunity with the potential for ongoing work for the right freelancers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D models in SketchUp.
- Produce presentation and technical drawing packs using SketchUp Layout.
- Develop exhibition stand and event designs from client briefs and floor plans.
- Work closely with our Design and Project Management teams to refine concepts and prepare client presentations.
- Deliver work to agreed deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and presentation.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent SketchUp skills.
- Experience using SketchUp Layout.
- Previous experience within the events, exhibitions, retail, or experiential design sector.
- Strong understanding of space planning and exhibition construction.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team, and manage project deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant SketchUp work.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with 3ds Max.
- Rendering using V-Ray.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop and Illustrator).
