ASSISTANT MANAGER
Spinners Plymouth
Salary: £28,600 + Bonus per annum
Location: Plymouth
Reports to: General Manager
ABOUT SPINNERS
Spinners is one of the UK's fastest-growing competitive socialising brands - where luxury meets play. We opened our first venue in Reading in 2021, followed by Plymouth in 2023, Solihull in 2024 and Chester in 2026, and with £4m of investment from Gresham House Ventures behind us, we're rolling out nationwide.
Every Spinners venue brings together interactive darts, boutique duckpin bowling, shuffleboard, mini golf and Clayshot®- our own proprietary clay shooting simulator you won't find anywhere else - alongside a vibrant bar and kitchen serving artisan pizzas, premium cocktails and quality drinks in a stylish, immersive setting.
Spinners Plymouth is located in the heart of the city, offering one of the South West's most exciting competitive socialising experiences. We're not running a games venue- we're creating a destination: elevated social gaming, exceptional food and drink, high-energy entertainment, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-first Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading Spinners Plymouth. As the second-in-command, you'll play a vital role in the success of the venue, helping to lead the team, shape the culture, deliver outstanding guest experiences and drive commercial performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance operational excellence with energy, personality and fun. You'll lead from the floor, inspire your team, coach and develop others, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
As the General Manager's deputy, you'll be trusted to take full responsibility for the venue in their absence. From leading the management team and making key operational decisions to maintaining service standards, driving sales and ensuring compliance, you'll have genuine ownership and autonomy.
If you thrive in high-volume, wet-led venues, love entertainment-driven hospitality, and are looking to take the next step towards becoming a General Manager, this role has your name on it.
And because we're scaling nationally, this isn't a ceiling - our best Assistant Managers are tomorrow's General Managers and future multi-site leaders.
