Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and dining area in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and give correct change
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or light snacks when needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods without compromising quality
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Experience
- Previous barista experience or serving experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
