A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing exceptional customer service. They create a welcoming environment for customers, maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, and ensure all food and beverage products meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers, take orders, process payments, and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and notify management of shortages.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve light food items as required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
