Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for members
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality environments is essential
- Knowledge of safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately and completing till sheets
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work flexibly on a part-time basis, including evenings and weekends as required
