Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a bank basis to cover staff sickness and holidays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of service users rooms, communal areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, service users and team members.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
