Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry in a professional environment.
Duties
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and health & safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages as required
- Maintain storage areas in an organised manner
- Follow company policies on hygiene and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping services
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays if required
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within a hospitality environment is desirable

Pay: £12.21-£21.66 per hour
