Reprographics Technician
Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week, term time only plus non-pupil days and 10 days’ summer holiday working

An opportunity has arisen for a Reprographics Technician to provide an effective and efficient reprographics service to the school. The successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and have excellent customer service skills. You will also have good ICT and administrative skills; experience of operating reprographics equipment such as printers and copiers is desirable but not essential. The hours of work will be 08.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday.
The duties below are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required by the Executive Principal to carry out appropriate duties within the context of the job, skills and grade:
- Produce a wide variety of reprographic materials for staff and students
- Operate reprographics equipment for staff printing requirements
- Work from the email list of required printing from the Reprographics inbox, prioritising the jobs as required.
- Order stock for use in reprographics when required
- Maintain records of consumables for charging back to departments
- Check and replenish paper stock for all desktop and MFD printers according to school routines
- Liaise with the IT Manager and IT Help Desk as required
- Develop technical and diagnostic skills to problem solve in relation to reprographics equipment
- Develop internal processes to ensure the efficiency of the department, liaising with the IT Manager.
- To undertake any training commensurate with the post
- To participate in the performance and development review process, taking personal responsibility for identification of learning, development and training opportunities in discussion with line manager.
- To comply with individual responsibilities, in accordance with the role, for health & safety in the workplace
