Road to Logistics is recruiting learners across Tendring for fully funded Skills Bootcamp designed to help local people move into sustainable employment within the transport sector.
Funded through Freeport East, these programmes provide practical, industry-focused training alongside employability support and access to employers operating within one of the UK’s key logistics and port growth areas.
We are particularly interested in applications from people living in and around:

Wider Tendring
Our HGV Skills Bootcamp is designed for people who want to start a career as a professional HGV driver.
Depending on the pathway available, learners may progress towards Category C or Category C+E licence entitlement.
Training and support may include:
Introduction to the transport and logistics industry
HGV driver role and career pathways
Health and safety
Employability and interview preparation
Driver theory preparation and testing
HGV practical driver training
Support to progress into employment
Employer engagement and job opportunities
Applicants must:
Be aged 19 or over
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have held their driving licence for at least 12 months
Normally have no more than 6 penalty points
Have no driving convictions resulting in a ban within the last 10 years

Be committed to progressing into employment within the transport and logistics sector
Eligibility will be confirmed before a place is offered.

You do not need previous experience within transport, logistics or warehousing.
