Job Summary:
DeterTecno Automation Systems Ltd is seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist to support the operation, improvement, and maintenance of automated industrial systems. This role is suited to someone with a practical technical mindset who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, and working with automation technology.
What you'll do:
- Support the operation and maintenance of automated systems
- Assist with configuring and improving automation equipment
- Monitor system performance and investigate technical issues
- Help troubleshoot controls, sensors, and connected equipment
- Support PLC and automation system activities
- Work with engineering and maintenance teams on projects
- Assist with equipment testing and system upgrades
- Maintain technical records and system documentation
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability
- Coordinate with suppliers and technical service providers when needed
Requirements:
- Experience in automation, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, or a related area
- Basic understanding of industrial automation systems
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with technical equipment and information
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Practical and detail-focused approach
- Willingness to learn new automation technologies
