This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic & well established (since 2004), healthcare team as an Associate Osteopath, where you will play a vital role in improving patients’ quality of life through expert spinal and musculoskeletal care. You will join an established clinic with an ever growing existing patient list, with crossover care with other allied health professionals such as chiropractors and physiotherapists. As a dedicated professional, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories to identify musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate osteopathic techniques, manual therapy, and rehabilitative exercises.
- Perform safe and effective manipulations and other osteopathic techniques to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care when necessary.
- Stay current with the latest chiropractic research and techniques to continually enhance treatment quality.
Requirements
- Valid osteopathic license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal health.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in osteopathic care.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
