Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Bake fresh pastries, bread, and other baked goods daily, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and customers
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their experience
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with cooking, food plating, and ingredient handling as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or a restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of baking techniques and culinary practices to produce high-quality baked goods and beverages
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks required in a kitchen setting
- Enthusiasm for learning new recipes and techniques to continually improve your craft
