We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Sewage Treatment Plant Installation Operative / Groundworker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on the installation of domestic and commercial sewage treatment plants, septic tanks, pump stations, drainage systems, and associated groundwork across a variety of sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with groundwork or civil engineering experience who enjoys working outdoors as part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of sewage treatment plants, septic tanks, and pump stations.
- Excavation, trenching, and backfilling using excavators and plant machinery.
- Installation of drainage pipework and associated fittings.
- Concrete works, bedding, and reinstatement.
- Reading and working from site plans and drawings.
- Operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Working closely with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in groundwork, drainage, or civil engineering.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
