B-Slinger
GoBurrito is a small independent burrito bar serving fresh, high-quality food for takeaway and delivery in the heart of Lancaster.
We’re looking for a B-Slinger to join the team — someone energetic, reliable and great with people who enjoys being part of a busy service.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys looking after customers and wants to help keep a small independent shop running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working across the servery, helping keep everything flowing. That means things like:
- Serving customers and running the till
- Building burritos and bowls that look as good as they taste
- Basic kitchen prep using fresh ingredients
- Checking and recording food temperatures
- Keeping the servery fully stocked and ready for service
- Keeping food, equipment and work areas clean and hygienic throughout the shift
- Opening or closing the servery, depending on the shift
- Completing closing duties, including cleaning, restocking and leaving everything ready for the next day
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Helping wherever needed during busy periods
We’re a small team, so everyone mucks in and helps each other out.

- Wants to be part of a small independent team
Hospitality experience is ideal, but the right personality matters more. Full training will be provided.
The practical stuff
Shifts run between 9am and 11.30pm, Wednesday–Sunday.
Weekend availability will be important, and you’ll need to be comfortable working both opening and closing shifts.
This is an active, hands-on role, so you’ll be on your feet and helping wherever you’re needed throughout the shift.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 26.0 per week
