Job Summary
We are looking for a driver for one of our Ford Transit 350 Leader, long wheelbase vehicles, operating from our warehouse in Watford (WD18) and delivering goods to our customers in London and the Home Counties.
London deliveries will make up around 50% of the average month.
Our products are used in commercial and industrial settings and can be heavy, vehicles are equipped with pallet jacks, one is also fitted with a tail lift, but some heavy lifting will be involved.
You will be responsible for:
Loading and securing the vehicle
Delivering goods
Handling paperwork and collecting POD
Communicating with the office
Representing the company on the roads and at customer sites in a polite, courteous and safe manner at all times.
Days / Hours – 39hr week
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00
Friday 08:00 – 16:00
If you:
meet our fleet insurance policy criteria
are physically fit
can travel to Watford for an 8am start
have a minimum of 2 years’ experience gained within the last 5 years in a similar role driving a similar vehicle
have a clean driving licence
