We are looking for an experienced and motivated Digital Manager to lead our digital print department within our busy and growing printing manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on management role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our HP Indigo digital presses and large format equipment, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the digital print room, including HP Indigo and large format production.
- Schedule and prioritise work to meet customer deadlines and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure all jobs are produced to the highest quality standards and client specifications.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the digital team.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across digital and large format processes.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication throughout production.
About You
- Strong experience operating HP Indigo presses
- Previous experience in a senior operator, supervisor, or management role within digital print.
- Good understanding of digital print workflows, colour management, and production planning.
- Experience with large format printing and finishing equipment would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to support overtime requirements during busy periods.
