Multi-skilled Maintenance Contractor
About us:
We are a fast-paced maintenance company with a portfolio of properties across London looking for a new multi-skilled maintenance contractor to join our team.
About you:
You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks from general maintenance, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical work and tiling.
You will visit several properties per day, starting and finishing in a different location (all jobs are in London). You will need to write a short report after finishing each job, confirming the works carried out or what materials are needed.
Time keeping, reliability, loyalty and professional customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be independent and looking for something new each day.
Must be flexible with start/finish times where needed. Weekend work or over time may be possible where requested.
Self-employed with possibility of later moving to a full-time contract.
Responsibilities:
- Driving to roughly 7-9 jobs per day
- Assess, investigate and diagnose maintenance issues
- Maintain record of works carried out
- General maintenance, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, painting and decorating, tiling, flooring, mould detection, leak detection, basic roofing, HVACs
- Maintenance can range from replacing light bulbs, fittings, filters, taps, bath panels, silicone, grout, repairing furniture, assembling furniture, clearing gutters, flooring, replacing switches, repla
Experience needed:
- Handyman: 4 years (required)
- Plumbing (3+ year required)
- Painting and decorating (3+ years required)
- Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)

Pay: £230.00 per day
