Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced architect with a keen eye for detail and construction knowledge. You’ll be responsible for creating both internal detailed drawings and specific construction details. This isn’t your typical architectural role. You’ll be joining the office of a development company specialising in high-end turnkey development and refurbishment. You’ll have the opportunity to work on various stages of construction delivery, including producing planning drawings, internal GAs, technical details and interior elevation and design details. In addition to architectural drawings, you’ll assist with design management, check site progress and ensure subcontractors and site teams have the necessary information. It sounds like a lot, but you’ll only be working on one or two projects at a time. The company director favours a design lead approach to all his projects and is currently hiring architects to assist with management, production and coordination of information. The project this role is hiring for is a £6m fit-out of a 550m² townhouse in the heart of Mayfair. So, you’ll need to be prepared for a high-end finish!
