The North Wales GP OOH's Service are looking to recruit Urgent Care Practitioners within the Service. We are looking for individuals who are working towards Masters in Advanced Practice and have completed the Independent prescribing and Clinical examination or are close to achieving the modules.
Our aim is to deliver a high standard of care to the people of North Wales.
The hours are flexible and attract enhanced rates of pay on all hours worked during the out of hours period.
The service can offer support for Urgent Care Practitioners to increase knowledge of urgent care and leadership through mentorship and clinical supervision.
There will be allocated time for continued professional development within the role and there may be the opportunity for completion of full Masters.
The role will provide same day care to patients presenting with new onset symptoms and/or acute exacerbations of diagnosed long-term conditions.
To work autonomously in a holistic manner utilising your skills, experience and knowledge to provide comprehensive care by assessment to treatment and referral to other Health Care Professionals when required.
Participate in mentoring and training colleagues to enable them to develop skills and to help improve the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
