We’re a small, down-to-earth office where everyone pulls their weight, supports each other, and doesn’t take life too seriously (within reason, of course). The kettle’s always on, the laughs are regular, and no two days are ever quite the same.
The Role: You’ll be the voice (and sometimes the sanity) of the business, helping customers with queries, solving problems, and making sure they leave happy. Whether it’s over the phone or email, you’ll bring a calm, helpful approach—even when things get a bit hectic.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Handling customer enquiries with confidence and professionalism on the phone and email.
Inputting & processing customer orders & quotations onto a computer system using Sage
Resolving issues quickly and efficiently
Working closely with the team to keep things running smoothly
Keeping records up to date (yes, there’s a bit of admin too)
Communicating with warehouse staff
Planning transport delivery routes
Credit Control / Assisting with Accounts Queries
Bringing good energy and a sense of humour to the office
What We’re Looking For:
Great communication skills (and a bit of personality to go with it)
A team player who’s happy to muck in but also work alone
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Good basic computer skills
Previous customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential
There is no hard selling outbound calls
Our Working hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm Friday 8am-4pm
